Marriage: Pearl Hackett and Herbert Day, 1908: Straight River Twp, Hubbard County, MN

Transcription of the marriage announcement of Pearl Hackett and Herbert Edwin Day.
Park Rapids Enterprise, 8 Mar 1908.

Married Today.

The marriage of H.E. Day and Miss Pearle Hackett will be solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Hackett, in Straight River township this afternoon. Rev. E.A.Cook will officiate.

Mr. Day came to Park Rapids about three years ago, and during the past year has been in the employ of Dr. Cutler. He is an industrious and ambitious young man, and has a bright rospect for the future.

Miss Hackett has been one of the successful teachers of the county for some time past and, as is the case with Mr. Day, has a host of friends who will be glad to hear of their happiness.

Mr. Day has rented the Dr. Cutler farm west of town, and there Mr. and Mrs. Day will make their home.
